Fillmore — Janice Fox Allen, 57, of Fillmore, and formerly of Rosedale, died at 4:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, in Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle. She was a retired unit secretary for the Intensive Care Unit in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, and Columbia House at Terre Haute. She was born April 4, 1955, in Clinton, to the late Homer Fox and Phyllis Apfel Fox.

Survivors include two sons, Kalub Allen and Dusty Allen, both of Terre Haute; one daughter, Brandi Allen Taylor of Terre Haute; one brother, James Lee Fox of Rosedale; two sisters, Mary Thompson of Fillmore, and Jo Anna Fox of Bainbridge; three grandchildren, Aryana Taylor, Devon Taylor, and Brodie Allen; two stepgrandchildren, Joseph Stevens and Josh Canupp; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a 1973 graduate of Rosedale High School. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, and fishing.

Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, in Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 287 N. Main Street, in Rosedale, with the Rev. Robert Muncie officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is from 1 until 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Friends may sign an online guest register at: www.goochfuneralhome.com
