  UPDATE 4: Deadly tornado roars through Oklahoma City suburb

  A monstrous tornado at least a half-mile wide roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs Monday, flattening entire neighborhoods and destroying an elementary school with a direct blow as children and teachers huddled against winds up to 200 mph. At least 51 people were killed, and officials said the death toll was expected to rise.

Gerry Lee Neidhamer

WORTHINGTON — Gerry Lee Neidhamer, 52, of Worthington, died June 21, 2012, at his residence. Gerry was born in Terre Haute on Oct. 4, 1959, the son of Beryl F. and Janine (White) Neidhamer. Gerry was a self employed roofer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  

He is survived by his soulmate and love of his life, Patty Tauber of Worthington; sisters, Elizabeth Ann (Steve) Wilkey of Terre Haute, and Barbara (Carl Fred) Apple of Riley; brother, Mike (Karen) Neidhamer of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.
