Rondell L. ‘Ron’ Bex

TERRE HAUTE — Rondell L. ‘Ron’ Bex, 56, of Terre Haute was called home Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in Westridge Health Care. He was born June 23, 1956 in Oblong, Illinois, to Charles W. Bex and Ruby G. Mendenhall Bex. He was a laborer for Gartland Foundry.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby G. Bex; four brothers, Raymond K. Bex and his wife Gloria of Arizona, Rodney G. Bex and his wife Marsha of Terre Haute, Roger A. Bex and his wife Georgia of Terre Haute and Richard L. Bex of Terre Haute; one sister, Roberta G. Tribby of Farmersburg; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, several cousins and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Bex; and a brother, Robert W. Bex.

Ron liked to camp, hunt and fish. He loved kids, animals and all outdoor activities. Ron had also served in the U.S. Marines Reserve.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 in Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street with Reverend Bernie Jackson officiating. Burial is in Highland Lawn Cemetery, Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to services. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Terre Haute Humane Society And Pet Adoption Center, P.O. Box 3307, Terre Haute, IN 47803. Funeral information is also available at:
