BRAZIL — Patty Jean Winsted Dill, of Brazil, went peacfully to be with her Heavenly Father March 14, 2013, in her daughter's home in Terre Haute. She was born Febuary 7, 1935, to Eugene and Wanetta Winkles (Forsyth) Debney in Lancing, Michigan.
Not only did she entertain her children and grandchildren with her own unique version of the traditional stories, but she filled their lives and homes with a vibrant use of color and design. She was an excellent seamstress and worked many years for Popoff's cleaners, JC Penny's, and numerous free lanced sewing projects in ulpolstry and custom clothing design.
Patty cherished the time she spent with her family and opened her heart and door readily to those in need. She taught her children, family and friends the love of God through an amazing spiritual strength and her faith in Jesus.
Patty is survived by her children, Kenneth and Sheila Wright of Harrisburg, NC, Leonard and Becky Wright of Sumner IL, Kevin Winsted and Tammy Kallner, as well as the mother of his children, Kathy Winsted of Brazil, Brenda Tetidrick and Martin McFarland of Terre Haute, Bonnie and Kevin Pierce of Brazil, Ronnie Winsted and Joy Babauta of Ferndale, and Wanetta and Mark Morge of Terre Haute; twenty five grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; her siblings, Donna, Jim and David Debney; as well as several nephews and neices.
She was preceeded in death by her husbands, Mick Wright, Ronnie Winsted and Hubert Dill; her son, Tim Wright; daughter, Karen Winsted; and brother, Bill Forsyth.
Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Roselawn Funeral Home with a service to follow. Online condolences may be expressed at: www.roselawnfuneralhome.net.
