Carlotta R.Y. Potter

TERRE HAUTE — Carlotta R.Y. Potter, 31, made her transition on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital E.R. in the presence of her loving family. She was born Dec. 30, 1980, in Terre Haute, to the proud parents Jerome Potter Sr. and Lynne Henson.

She graduated in 2000 from Terre Haute South Vigo High School and attended Indiana State University for three years pursuing a degree elementary education. She was employed with Normal Life as a caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother; and grandparents. She is survived by one son, Jeremiah Potter of Terre Haute; father, Jerome Potter Sr. of Terre Haute; two brothers, Jerome Potter Jr. and Dominique Potter, both of Terre Haute; three sisters, Tara Potter of Bloomington, Ind., Jeanette Whiteside of Terre Haute, and Marilyn Potter of Elkhart; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.

Services are 12 noon Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 S. 15th St. with the Rev. Kenneth Coffman officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until services at the church. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
