ROSEDALE — Robert “Bob” Tyler, 82, of Rosedale, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, in his residence. He was born in Clinton on Aug. 14, 1930, to Roy Tyler and Mary McKeen Tyler. He was a 1948 graduate of Clinton High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He had been a foreman at the Wabash River Generating Station.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Turchi; and a brother, Terry Tyler.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Watson Tyler; two daughters, Kim and Eric Anderson of Columbus, Ohio, and Lisa and Andy Pinegar of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Collin Anderson, Mären Anderson, Cameron Pinegar and Braden Pinegar; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday, at Frist Funeral Home, in Clinton, with the service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by American Legion Post 140 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6653.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
