PARIS, IL — Feb. 6, 1917 - Nov. 12, 2012

June Mary Johnson, 95, of Paris, passed away at 12:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Paris Healthcare Center. She was a homemaker and had previously worked in housekeeping at Paris Community Hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1917, in Texas County, Okla., the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Weber) Wright. She married Jay Henry Johnson on Dec. 24, 1938, in Liberal, Kans. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1975.

Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine (Phillip) Antholz of Terre Haute, Ind.; three sisters, Bertha Carter and Esther Blanford, both of Paris, and LaVerne Tucker of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Harold Adams, Dean (Lori) Adams, Scott (Selena) Withrow, and Amy (Gregory) Stephens; as well as several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Pratt; two brothers, Ralph L. and George Wright; two sisters, Louise Cummins and Marie Johnson; and a son-in-law, Ronald Pratt.

For those who wish, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. CST Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Templeton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Send condolences for the family to:
