CARLISLE — Charles Hancock, 68, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Breckenridge Health and Rehabilitation, in Sullivan. He was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Robinson, Ill., the son of Lucian W. and Ruth (Elliott) Hancock. Charles graduated from Honey Creek High School and was a truck driver for Hancock Trucking. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include daughter, Diana (Tim) Hough of Terre Haute; three sons, Charles Hancock Jr. of Carlisle, Curtis (Jennifer) Hancock of Odon, and Clinton W. (Amanda) Hancock of Carlisle; two sisters, Donna (Jack) Gibson of Seelyville, and Judy (Jim) Warr of Vero Beach, Fla.; one brother, Donny (Cindy) Hancock of Riley; and 10 grandchildren, Caleb, Caitlyn, Conner, Zach, Gage, Sierra, Shawna, Benson, Chloe, and Elizabeth.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Banks and Brust Funeral Home, in Sullivan, with the Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in Merom Cemetery, located in Merom. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the funeral home. Contact online at:
