Mary Pauline Morris Sartain

--- — Mary Pauline Morris Sartain passed away in her home on Sept. 10, 2012. She was born in Terre Haute on April 10, 1919, to William Sherman Morris and Lilly Large Morris. She was a homemaker who enjoyed all of her grandchildren. Mary enjoyed traveling, especially when it presented the opportunity to visit family.  

Mary is survived by her son, Donald E. Sartain of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Joseph P. Bennett and wife Connie J. Bennett, Malinda K. Branch, Marybeth Sartain, Kimberly S. Webster and husband Bryant Webster, Lynn A. Long and husband Robert Long, Donald R. Sartain and wife Wendy M. Sartain, and Eric S. Sartain, all of Terre Haute, and Kathy Bennett of West Terre Haute. Mary had several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Donald Sartain; and two children and their spouses: Helen G. Bennett and husband Robert Bennett, Larry C. Sartain and wife Karen L. Sartain; daughter-in-law, Donna L. Sartain; five grandchildren, Deborah and David Curry, and Billy, Douglas, and Kenny Bennett.  

Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at the funeral home, with Pastor Ray Leach officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at:
