Noon Optimist Club members work with area teachers to determine which children are eligible to receive clothing. The children, depending on their needswill receive a new coat, hoodie, shirt, pants, socks and underwear. These children will meet on Saturday, December 15th at the southside Wal-Mart to be properly sized and outfitted.

The group’s annual “Clothe-A-Child” Auction will be hosted at the V.F.W. at 12th and Mulberry streets beginning at 7 p.m. on Dec. 4. Local businesses have donated hundreds of items for the auction.
