TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

• Chyrilda J. Adams, 44, 2000 block of North 22nd Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:21 a.m. Probation violation.

• Ricaro A. Hutchins, 31, 2600 block of North 12th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:15 a.m. Probation violation.

• Tammy R. Russell, 45, 8000 block of Private Road 400, Brazil, booked 12:42 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Maurice K. Shelton, 30, 3800 block of North 21st Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:17 p.m. Intimidation.

• Damita S. Jaffe, 37, 1600 block of South 17th Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:58 p.m. Aggravated battery.

• Jerilyn M. Wyman, 46, 1700 block of Lafayette Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 4:21 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Angie L. Allsup, 41, 300 block of North 16th Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:26 p.m. Burglary, residential entry.

• Lou A. Cox, 54, 2300 block of Oakcliff Road, Terre Haute, booked 5:30 p.m. Criminal conversion, failure to appear.

• Terry Haney, 44, 900 block of South Ninth Street, Terre Haute, booked 6:03 p.m. Dealing methamphetamine.

• Richard J. Edwards, 27, 2200 block of Frisco Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 7:10 p.m. Invasion of privacy, residential entry, failure to appear.

• James E. Stephens, 42, 2500 block of Harding Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 9:36 p.m. Criminal trespass.

• Daniel L. Biglin, 21, 5300 block of North 13 1/2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:43 p.m. Residential entry, criminal mischief.

Wednesday

• Ethaniel J. Burk, 22, 1900 block of Ash Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:24 a.m. Failure to appear.

• Carol Ann Linzy, 23, 2600 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:54 a.m. Disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting law enforcement, failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
