TERRE HAUTE —
A burn ban in Vigo County has been extended another week, said Dr. Dorene Hojnicki, director of the Vigo County Emergency Management Agency.
The decision was made after input from county volunteer fire departments and with the Terre Haute City Fire Department, Hojnicki said.
The ban was first implemented by the Vigo County Commissioners in late May.
