TERRE HAUTE —
Terre Haute Police continue to investigate a Monday night collision between a pickup truck and a freight train near the intersection of Eighth Avenue and 13th Street.
The pickup truck was damaged in the 10 p.m. accident, but left the scene after the collision. The vehicle was later found abandoned near 14th and Ash streets.
A driver had not been located as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call THPD at 238-1661.
