TERRE HAUTE —
The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for Vigo County takes place for 15 hours this weekend at Terre Haute YMCA on Dresser Drive at Fairbanks Park.
The event’s opening ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday and continues through the night, ending at 6 a.m. Sunday.
All activities — including a survivor recognition dinner; silent auction; and entertainment by Lemon Brothers, Bayou Dan, Swingin’ Mates Square Dancers, Fossil Fuel and others — will take place inside the air-conditioned YMCA building.
All scheduled teams are asked to start setting up at 2 p.m. Saturday.
