Vigo County Jail Log: June 5, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Christopher E. Morris, 46, 1300 block of North Fourth St., Terre Haute, was booked at 10:19 a.m. Monday. Court Order.

John D. Quillen, 22, 5300 block of W. Jones Ave., W Terre Haute, was booked at 11:14 a.m. Monday. Theft.

Erving L. Sanders Jr., 21, 3200 block of N. Bolton, Indianoplis, was booked at 12:15 p.m. Monday. Failure to appear.

Cynthia L. Mccoy, 33, 4200 block of South Sixth, Terre Haute, was booked at 1:58 p.m. Monday. Failure to appear.

Larry O. Strong, 37, 900 block of North Eighth, Terre Haute, was booked at 4:33 p.m. Monday. Failure to appear two counts.

Cameron J. Bell, 20, 1300 block of N. Smith Place, Terre Haute, was booked at 8:16 p.m. Monday. Possession of controlled substance and failure to appear.

Sidney D. Bolden, 44, 400 block of South 16th St., Terre Haute, was booked at 9:40 p.m. Monday. Failure to appear two  counts and dealing cocaine.

Kayla A. Swindle, 22, 1400 block of Chestnut St., Terre Haute, was booked at 6:32 a.m. Monday. Battery-somestic.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
