Under his own plan, Mitt Romney would pay half of what he would under President Barack Obama’s proposal — a savings of about $5 million a year. Obama could save as much as $90,000 under Romney’s plan.

Aviation records of a Dana Air Boeing MD-83 that crashed into a heavily populated neighborhood in Lagos killing all 153 on board are now under examination.

3. ZIMMERMAN’S ATTORNEY HOPES TO PERSUADE JUDGE

The lawyer for the defendant in the Trayvon Martin shooting is seeking a new bond hearing a day after his client was ordered to return to jail after having his bond revoked.  

4. HANOI OPENS THREE NEW SITES FOR MIA SEARCH

The Vietnamese government’s approval for excavation will allow the United States to search for troop remains from the war.

5. GOP MEASURE COULD BE ELECTION-YEAR BOOST
