VIGO COUNTY JAIL LOG: May 12, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.



Daniel Butler, 46, who gave only a post office ox address, was booked at 11:07 a.m. Thursday. Failure to appear.

James W. Tate, 30, 1100 block of Ridgeview, Avon, was booked at 12:01 p.m. Thursday. Failure to appear.

Kale W. Walker, 39, 200 block of Wheeler Avenue, Terre Haute, was booked at 1:20 p.m. Thursday. Habitual traffic violator.

Lorilea A. Montgomery, 46, 400 block of South Virgil Street, Jasonville, was booked at 1:44 p.m. Thursday. Failure to appear.

Joshua K. Dunn, 23, 1100 block of Greenleaf Court, Terre Haute, was booked at 2:06 p.m. Thursday. Domestic battery.

Ashley E. Sharp, 21, 9900 block of East Bluff Street, Rosedale, was booked at 4:29 p.m. Thursday. Probation violation.

Megan B. Nelson, 27, 9200 block of U.S. 41, Terre Haute, was booked at 5:18 p.m. Thursday. Operating while intoxicated.

Jane A. Shaffer, 50, 1700 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute, was booked at 5:52 p.m. Thursday. Bond revocation.

William R. Simrell, 55, 100 block of South 15th Street, Terre Haute, was booked at 6:46 p.m. Thursday. Court order.

Lauren Cox, 20, 2700 block of South 26th Street, Terre Haute, was booked at 7:18 p.m. Thursday. Criminal conversion.

Marshall W. Lowe, 64, 6100 block of  West Sutliff, Terre Haute, was booked at 8:52 p.m. Thursday. Violation of no contact order.

Ashlee M. Melvin, 28, 2900 block of Ijams Drive, Terre Haute, was booked at 10:54 p.m. Thursday. Bond revocation.

Jason R. Boyce, 21, 2600 block of North Hunt, Terre Haute, was booked at 11:55 p.m. Thursday. Operating while intoxicated.

Bobby D. Higgins, 26, 1500 block of Delaware Avenue, Terre Haute, was booked at 12:13 a.m. Friday. Operating while intoxicated.

Jackiel D. Johnson, 36, 2900 block of North 15th 1/2, Terre Haute, was booked at 2:01 a.m. Friday. Operating while intoxicated.

Timothy M. Stanek, 24, 100 block of South Cresy Lane, Lafayette, was booked at 2:33 a.m. Friday. Operating while intoxicated.

Morgan E. Wilson, 23, 4200 block of South Kian Street, Terre Haute, was booked at 3:21 a.m. Friday. Disorderly conduct and public intoxication.  

Jesse D. Aff, 19, 300 block of South Hobe Place, West Terre Haute, was booked at 3:22 a.m. Friday. Disorderly conduct, minor consuming and public intoxication.

 

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
