TERRE HAUTE —
A man riding a bicycle near Margaret Avenue was reportedly struck by a vehicle there late Saturday evening.
Terre Haute City Police confirmed Sunday that William Simerell was struck near Center Street and Margaret Avenue while riding out of the Southland Shopping Mall about 9:25 p.m. Saturday.
Simerell, described as being in his 40s, was reportedly transported to Methodist Hospital, but a spokeswoman for that organization said he was not listed in the patient directory Sunday.
No citations were reportedly issued.
An accident report was not available Sunday.
