Community Foundation fulfilling holiday wishes

The Wabash Valley Community Foundation has launched a new community project — the 2012 Holiday Wish List.

This new project will bring awareness to the needs of the local nonprofit organizations during the holiday season. It will feature nonprofit organizations in Clay, Sullivan, and Vigo counties. Each organization will provide three wishes ranging from $25 to $500 that will be beneficial to the organization. The goal is to fulfill every wish during the month of December.

The Wish List provides an opportunity for residents to fulfill wishes “in honor of” a friend or family member. Contributions can be made to the organization’s endowment fund, if one is established. This guide may also be used for general holiday giving or end of year charitable giving. All donations are tax deductible.
