TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday

Jacob E. Handlon, 21, 200 block of North Main Street, Fillmore, Ind. Booked 9:50 a.m. Probation violation, bond revocation and fail return-lawful detension.

Thomas W. Floyd, 47, 3800 block of Hampton Place, Terre Haute. Booked 11:16 a.m. Probation violation.

Shelby Fields, 19, 1800 block of East National Avenue, Brazil. Booked 11:34 a..m. Failure to appear.

Tessie W. Sheffler, 20, 1600 block of South County Road 600 East, Sullivan, Ind. Booked 3:53 p.m. Failure to appear.

George E. Burdine, 60, 2300 block of St. Peter Street, Indianapolis. Booked 4:03 p.m. Court order.

Rickey L. Dikes, 60, 1300 block of First Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 7:32 p.m. Failure to appear.

Mary C. Skinner, 33, 1300 block of South Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 7:36 p.m. Habitual traffic violator and possession of paraphernalia.

Stephen L. Deverick, 33, 1800 block of North 23rd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 8:09 p.m. Criminal trespassing.

Todd E. Couch, 41, 1700 block of Ash Street, Terre Haute, 8:26 p.m. Failure to appear.

Tanya M. Grindle, 33, 1800 block of Interurban Road, West Terre Haute. Booked 9:48 p.m. Possession of marijuana/hash, paraphernalia and failure to appear.

Curtis L. Grindle, 34, 1800 block of Interurban Road, West Terre Haute. Booked 9:57 p.m. Failure to appear.

Samantha D. Eddy, 20, 2000 block of Ash Street, Terre Haute. Booked 11:51 p.m. Driver never licensed.

Friday

Kristen N. Purdie, 19, 1100 block of Grovewood Drive, Beech Grove, Ind. Booked 12:03 a.m. Minor consuming.

Lynzee D. Davis, 19, 10 block of South Fourth Street, Beech Grove, Ind. Booked 12:07 a.m. Minor Consuming.

Darrek K. Barrett, 22, 4900 block of East Gross Drive, Terre Haute. 12:43 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine, manufacture methamphetamine and neglect of a dependent.

Karl C. Bowen, 24, 500 block of South Fourth Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:18 a.m. Public intoxication.

Joseph D. Butler, 19, 6200 block of Tennison Way, Indianapolis. Booked 2:03 a.m. Minor consuming.



Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
