TERRE HAUTE — Authorities confirmed Wednesday that a man involved in a moped accident last weekend has died.
Vigo County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Clark Cottom confirmed that Robert Hoole died in an Indianapolis hospital. He was injured when the moped he was operating crashed Saturday evening along North Hunt Street.
The crash remains under investigation but alcohol is believed to have been a factor.
