TERRE HAUTE —
A Terre Haute man has been sentenced to two years on home detention after pleading guilty to sexual battery in Vigo Superior Court 3.
Bradley A. Locke, 24, must also register as a sex offender for 10 years, but will be allowed to have contact with his own child, younger than age 16.
Locke was originally charged with class-A felony child molestation in August 2009.
An investigation by Terre Haute Police determined that Locke allegedly molested a 4-year-old girl at her home while the child’s mother was at work between March 20 and Aug. 11, 2009.
The child told her father, who reported the incident to police.
The charge was amended in May to the class-D felony of sexual battery as part of the plea agreement.
