Vigo County Jail Log: Sept. 13, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

• Taiwan D. Richards, 36, 1600 block of South 16th Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:15 a.m. Failure to appear.

• Tamon L. Herron, 25, 600 block South 131⁄2 Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:21 a.m. Court order.

• Nicholas Alston, 30, 1400 block South 151⁄2 Street, Vincennes, booked 2:54 p.m. Possession of firearm.

• Shannon D. Manley, 42, 100 block East Voorhees Avenue, Terre Haute, Probation violation.

• Robert W. Johnson, 47, 200 block of Dreiser Square, Terre Haute, booked 8:08 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Erving L. Sanders Jr., 21, 3200 block of North Bolton, Indianapolis, booked 11 p.m. False reporting.

Wednesday

• Michael L. Conder, 22, 3200 block of East Lynn Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 1:08 a.m. Public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting law enforcement (two counts).

• Hatim Almaktum, 21, 700 block of Heritage Lane, Terre Haute, booked 2:31 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

• Maria A. Hutchins, 33, 2600 block of North 12th Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:54 a.m. Probation violation and bond revocation.

• Robert Peoples, 38, 1500 block of South 18th Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:16 a.m. Habitual traffic violation, driver never licensed and false reporting.



Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
