Academy of Dance of Terre Haute to present ‘Hansel and Gretel’

TERRE HAUTE — The Academy of Dance of Terre Haute, under the direction of Patti Willey, will stage its 12th annual spring concert, “Hansel and Gretel,” at 6:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday in Indiana State University’s Tilson Auditorium.

More than 300 students will tell the story of “Hansel and Gretel” through ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, creative movement and modern dance.

Featured dancers include Terre Haute North seniors Caitlin Manning, Audrey Wynne and Kate Edwards; Rockville senior Katie Lugar; Terre Haute South seniors Emily Sturgess, Samantha Hayes and Kayla Weber; West Vigo senior Sara Umphries; and ISU senior Sarah Geraci.

Reserved tickets may be purchased in advance at the studio at 2000 S. Third St., or at the box office the day of each show. Ticket price is $17.50.
