Will Cook for Tips: 100 Men Who Cook helping Children’s Museum through online fundraising

TERRE HAUTE — On March 23, 100 local male celebrities will prepare and share their favorite recipes during the “100 Men Who Cook” event, and they will be competing for tips to benefit the Terre Haute Children’s Museum at 727 Wabash Ave. But, this year, even those who are unable to attend the event can show their support for their favorite chefs and the museum by putting tips in an online tip jar.

The online tipping site at thchildrensmuseum.com/100men is available now through 5 p.m. March 22. All tip donations raised through the site and on the night of the event will support the museum’s mission of “enriching our children's lives through the exploration of science and technology."

The 2013 100 Men Who Cook event is being sponsored by Old National Bank, Clara Fairbanks Foundation, Frontier Communications, Thompson Thrift and Vectren, and there are a limited number of tickets still available. For more information, call 812-462-7267.

All donations to the museum are fully tax-deductible as allowed by tax law. To see a list of the chefs involved with “100 Men Who Cook,” and to make a donation to their online tip jars, visit thchildrensmuseum.com/100men. For more information about the Terre Haute Children’s Museum, visit thchildrensmuseum.com or call 812-235-5548.
