Friends of Ernie Pyle takes ownership, renames Dana museum
The western Indiana home in which renowned Hoosier journalist Ernie Pyle was born, and an adjacent museum dedicated to preserving his legacy as a World War II correspondent, have a new owner.

Bolte Taylor exhibit will feature 5-foot-tall brains
An Indiana brain scientist whose memoir about her recovery from a stroke became a best-seller has dreamed up an exhibit featuring giant brains that will be mounted around Bloomington this spring.

Original copy of 13th Amendment at Lincoln Library & Museum
A fully signed and recently restored copy of the Congressional resolution for a 13th Amendment to the Constitution, the official act that would abolish slavery in the United States, will be on display in the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum’s Treasures Gallery.

Gov. Daniels adds father of Indiana’s parks system to Hoosier Heritage Gallery
A portrait of Col. Richard Lieber, founder of Indiana’s state parks, is the newest addition to the Hoosier Heritage Gallery that adorns the south wall of the Governor’s Office.

SLIDESHOW: Columbus Day at Terre Haute Children's Museum
Vigo County schools were out on Monday, Oct. 10, but learning continued in the Terre Haute Children's Museum with its Columbus Day program.
Free coffee and hot chocolate were part of the hands-on activities as children learned about Christopher Columbus and his adventures.

Thomas Edison to visit Children’s Museum
At 2:30 p.m. Sunday Thomas Edison, inventor, lecturer and prankster, will pay a special visit to the Terre Haute Children’s Museum. The appearance is part of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology’s Family Discovery Series.
