Terre Haute native Dave Frey leads his Dove Award-winning band, Sidewalk Prophets, into a 7 p.m. Saturday concert at his hometown church, Maryland Community Church, joining opening performers Justin Hoeppner and Josh Wilson.
In an audio interview with the Tribune-Star, Frey — a Terre Haute South Vigo High School graduate and the Sidewalk Prophets’ lead singer — discusses the Nashville-based band’s new album, “Live Like That,” the title track (now No. 8 on the Billboard Christian singles chart), their current tour (which concludes with the Terre Haute show), and his influences.
