TERRE HAUTE — Several downtown Terre Haute construction projects are changing the skyline of the city.
Work on the Dora Bros' Hilton Garden Inn-Terre Haute House at 7th Street and Wabash Ave. is almost complete with a late September opening scheduled. One block to the north the Cherry Street Parking facility appears to be nearing the halfway point with crews reaching the top of the six-level structure on the west end.
Work is also progressing on the restoration of the Hulman and Co. buildings.
