‘Queen of Free’ to share tips at Rockville library

ROCKVILLE, IND. — Join the self proclaimed “Queen of Free,” Cherie Lowe, as she shares her favorite money saving tips and budget strategies to keep the happy in your holidays during a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Rockville Public Library.

Lowe will share her secret holiday shopping tips and budget strategies. From frugal cooking to gift giving, Black Friday and more, guests will learn ways to reduce stress and celebrate a meaningful holiday season.

For more than three years, Lowe has run a money saving website — www.queenoffree.net — where she shares frugal tips and strategies for living and her family’s story of becoming debt free.

Since April of 2008, the Lowe family has paid off $110,936. She’s been a featured speaker at more than 20 MOPS groups and churches, the Shelby County Women’s Expo, and made several guest appearances on Indy Style (WISH TV, Indianapolis CBS) and the WTHR Channel 13 News (Indianapolis NBC). Her money saving tips have appeared numerous times in The Daily Journal (Franklin) and national publication All You Magazine.

Humor meets the reality of balancing a budget, with practical, easy tips to daily change your finances and world in Lowe’s presentation. You’ll laugh, be inspired, and realize that you too can be a money saving lord or lady in the court of the Queen of Free.
