METRO ROUNDUP: Friday snowstorm scrambles schedules across Wabash Valley

Inclement weather around the Wabash Valley wiped out the boys, and a few girls, high school basketball games on Friday and Saturday night.

The following are postponements reported to the Tribune-Star:



• Terre Haute South’s boys basketball game at home vs. Ben Davis was postponed until Feb. 17 at 5:30 p.m. South’s boys game at Vincennes Lincoln today has been postponed until 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 23.

• Terre Haute North’s boys basketball game against Indianapolis North Central is postponed to a tentative date of Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. (varsity only). Today’s boys home game vs. Evansville Reitz has been canceled and will not be made up — homecoming activities have been rescheduled to the Indianapolis Cathedral game on Feb. 20, which is also Senior Night.

• West Vigo’s boys basketball game today at Rockville has been postponed to Feb. 17.

• Northview’s boys basketball game vs. Plainfield is postponed to Feb. 25.

• Sullivan’s boys basketball game at Owen Valley has been postponed.

• Sullivan’s girls basketball game against Owen Valley was postponed until 5 p.m. today.

• Shakamak at Clay City boys basketball game has been postponed until today.

• North Vermillion at South Vermillion boys basketball game has been postponed.

• Cloverdale at Speedway boys basketball game has been postponed.

• Seeger at Riverton Parke boys basketball game has been postponed.

• Eminence at Linton boys basketball game has been postponed.

• North Central at Union boys/girls basketball doubleheader has been postponed.

• Paris at Robinson boys basketball game has been postponed.

• The boys basketball game Friday between Martinsville and Cerro Gordo has been postponed, although today’s Martinsville-Cumberland game is still scheduled.

• Bloomington South wrestling regional will start at 11:30 a.m. today.

• North Montgomery wrestling regional will start at noon today.

• Zionsville girls swimming sectional today has been changed to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• WIC freshman basketball tourney at Owen Valley today has been cancelled.
