ISU volleyball's Fromm named second-team All-MVC
TERRE HAUTE — Indiana State senior setter Whitney Fromm (Snohomish, Wash.) was named second team All-Missouri Valley Conference it was announced today by the league office. Fromm is the first Sycamore since the 2004 season to be selected for the All-Conference team. Kelly Spisak was tabbed for the second team All-Conference and was also a member of the All-Tournament team after the 2004 season.
Fromm, a senior at Indiana State, finished her Sycamore career third on the all-time assist list with 2,979 total assists. She had 31 double-double’s during her career (assists and digs) and posted the ninth best single season assist mark during the 2008 season with 1,100 assists.
Fromm ranks 10th in the conference in assists per set as she averaged 8.13 per set while distributing the ball at a .346 percentage during all contests. She also ranks 20th in the MVC in digs per set, tallying 2.86 per set in MVC matches.
