Terre Haute North’s girls soccer team was pushed to the limit by South Vermillion on Wednesday, but a goal by Molly McKee with 1 minute, 59 seconds to go helped the Patriots slip past the Wildcats 1-0 in a girls soccer match.
McKee was assisted by Brooke Humphrey on the goal as the Patriots improved to 6-2 on the season.

• Engineers squeeze past Wabash — At Terre Haute, Paul Bouagnon’s last-minute goal lifted Rose-Hulman to a 1-0 victory over Wabash College in a nonconference match as the Engineers won their first match of the season.
Bouagnon won a contested ball in the penalty box on a half-field pass from Nick Race. Bouagnon’s goal occurred with 32 seconds left in the match.
Junior keeper Eric Davenport earned his third career shutout with four saves.
Rose-Hulman (1-3) had a 12-8 edge in shots on goal as it dealt Wabash (3-1) its first loss of the Little Giants’ season.
The Engineers next play at Wilmington this weekend where Rose-Hulman will also play Kenyon.
