INDIANAPOLIS —
The North Terre Haute 11-12 year-old Little League team advanced to the state semifinals Tuesday with a 12-5 victory over Ben Davis at Falls Park.
Nick Rush and R.J. Easton hit back-to-back home runs in a five-run fourth inning for North Terre Haute, and Brandon Taylor added a solo homer in the same inning.
Rush went 3 for 3 with two home runs, and Easton and Cody Maloon had two hits each.

Next — North Terre Haute plays tonight at 6 p.m. in the state semifinals against Bedford. Golfmoor (Evansville) plays New Albany in the other semifinal. The championship is Thursday.
