The Terre Haute Dave Cundiff Memorial Junior Closed tournament continued Tuesday with many close matches as some age-group divisions concluded play.
Sangeeth Jeevan defeated Cameron Crawford in the boys 18 singles division by a score of 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (13-11). Eesha Purohit got past Allison Summers 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (10-4) in the girls 18 singles final.

• Sharks win — At Mooresville, the Wabash Valley Sharks 10U girls team took second in the NSA “B” state tournament on June 20-21.
The Sharks went 7-3 on the weekend, falling 5-2 in the championship game to the Crown Point Bulldogs.
