The Woods signs hoops standout from North Daviess

TERRE HAUTE — North Daviess standout Abby McKee signed a national letter of intent to play college basketball at St. Mary-of-the-Woods this week.

McKee, a 5-foot-11 forward, averaged 14 points and seven rebounds for the Cougars. She led North Daviess to a 12-12 record and a Class A sectional championship.

In both her junior and senior seasons, McKee has been a first team SouthWestern Indiana Athletic Conference. She plans on majoring in either education and/or psychology.
