A former Terre Haute man has been arrested in Kentucky for allegations stemming from an ongoing investigation into child solicitation and exploitation.

Christopher E. Cyre, 38, was arrested Tuesday evening at his residence in Georgetown, Ky., on a Vigo County arrest warrant, according to an Indiana State Police news release. He reportedly remained in custody in Scott County, Ky., awaiting extradition to Vigo County, with bail set at $50,000, no 10-percent accepted.

According to the release, in March 2012, ISP detectives received four cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children agency, alleging that inappropriate sexual images of teenage boys and girls were being viewed by a person using the IP address belonging to a Wabash Valley financial institution.

The images and videos were reportedly less than 50 in total, with victims ranging in age from 13 to 15. According to the release, investigation revealed that the suspect was Cyre, who was allegedly committing the offenses using an alias while at work.
