TERRE HAUTE —
The annual Bikes for Tykes Assembly Day will be held beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology’s Facilities Operation.
At that time, Rose-Hulman students will assemble over 400 bicycles in just a couple of hours, so that distribution of bikes and helmets can get under way around noon.
Currently, $26,000 has been raised toward a goal of $30,000. Donations can still be made at any First Financial Bank through Friday. Donations can also be sent directly, payable to the Exchange Club of Terre Haute and mailed to P.O. Box 10113, Terre Haute, IN 47801. For more information, call 812-239-0126.
