TERRE HAUTE —
A West Terre Haute man was arrested Monday after a police pursuit that began after his vehicle collided with a Terre Haute police car.
Joshua Wayne Rowley, 24, was arrested in West Terre Haute on preliminary charges of reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting law enforcement and driver never licensed.
He is scheduled to appear in Vigo Superior Court 3 this morning for an initial probable cause hearing.
Terre Haute Police report that Rowley collided with the car of THPD Detective Keith Mowbray, who reported the incident. The pursuit by multiple agencies led police across the Wabash River Bridge into West Terre Haute before Rowley was apprehended.
Mowbray was not injured in the accident, according to THPD.
