TERRE HAUTE —
A car-train accident sent one person to a local hospital Monday evening in Terre Haute.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department said the crash took place at a railroad crossing on Beech Street around 14th Street between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Monday.
One person was injured and transported to a local hospital, according to Vigo County Central Dispatch.
No further details were available Monday night.
