TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

David Naylor, 60, 300 block of Pinewood Drive, Perrysville. Booked 7:42 a.m. Terroristic deception.

David N. Poore, 42, 500 block of South 24th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:01 a.m. Failure to appear and nonsupport of a child.

James W. Miller, 50, 1000 block of Seventh Avenue, Terre Haute. Booked 11:55 a.m. Battery.

Billy Lockard, 34, 6400 block of Cox Road, Terre Haute. Booked 2:50 p.m. Court order.

April Vermillion, 39, West Terre Haute. Booked 3:45 p.m. Theft.

Scott E. Reddix, 31, 400 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 3:59 p.m. Habitual traffic violator.

Charles L. Elkins Jr., 47, 900 block of West Paris Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 4:39 p.m. Failure to appear.

Odell L. Lucas, 35, 5500 block of Buchanan Street, Merrillville. Booked 6:28 p.m. Court order (two counts).

Heather D. Norton, 19, 400 block of Poplar Street, West Terre Haute. Booked 6:50 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Ronald W. Akers, 55, 800 block of West Paris Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:03 p.m. Neglect of a dependent and possession of marijuana/hash.

Tammie R. Akers, 49, 800 block of West Paris Avenue, West Terre Haute. Booked 10:03 p.m. Neglect of a dependent and possession of marijuana/hash.

Shyann N. Samm, 20, 300 block of North 23rd Street, Terre Haute. Booked 10:37 p.m. Failure to appear and criminal conversion.

Thursday

Lori R. Sullivan, 55, 2500 block of South 19th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:02 a.m. Failure to appear (two counts).

Robert A. Coleman, 29, 2400 block of North 26th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 12:12 a.m. Criminal conversion.

Sara R. Kester, 21, 600 block of East U.S. 40, Brazil. Booked 12:40 a.m. Failure to appear.

Douglas E. Lampe, 26, 6500 block of North Pinewood Street, Terre Haute. Booked 1:09 a.m. Failure to appear (three counts).

Cody Bell, 21, 1500 block of South 10th Street, Terre Haute. Booked 2:01 a.m. Failure to appear.

Joshe Eichelberger-Emmons, 23, 11300 block of East Lewsader Road, Rosedale. Booked 3:30 a.m. Public intoxication.

 

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
