TERRE HAUTE — Vigo County Jail Log

The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.



Monday

• Melissa S. Meeks, 33, 100 block of West Miller Avenue, West Terre Haute, booked 9:39 a.m.  Failure to appear (two counts).     

• Nathan L. Wallace, 19, 2400 block of North Liberty Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 9:51 a.m. Failure to appear.

• Crystal L. Jarvis, 46, 200 block of North First Street, Farmersburg, booked 11:23 a.m. Court order (two counts).

• John L. Robertson, 33, 1000 block of Blackman Street, Clinton, booked noon. Criminal trespass and failure to appear.  

• Micheal Johnson, 39, 4300 block of Highway 319, Aynor, S.C., booked 1:05 p.m. Court order (four counts).     

• Christopher P. Johnson, 33, 4000 block of Joyner Swamp Road, Galivants Ferry, S.C., booked 1:06 p.m. Court order (four counts).

• Chadwick Johnson, 38, 4400 block of Hardwick Loop, Galivants Ferry, S.C., booked 1:35 p.m. Court order (three counts).         

• Robert  Johnson, 38, 4300 block of Good Luck Road, Aynor, S.C., booked 1:52 p.m. Court order (three counts).      

• Tony C. Sparks, 31, 7900 block of Terry Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 2:26 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Carrie A. Hines, 38, 400 block of West Main Street, Worthington, booked 3:48 p.m. Possession of controlled substance and fraud.

• Alexandra M. Cooper, 19, 1700 block of Crawford Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:49 p.m.   Probation violation.

• Christina M. Knowles, 33, 2600 block of Schaal Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 5:06 p.m.  Probation violation.

• Michael P. Greene, 26, 500 block of South Third Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:14 p.m. Failure to register sex/violent offender, probation violation and resisting law enforcement.     

• Shane H. Hedden, 36, 700 block of South Ninth Street, West Terre Haute, booked 10:22 p.m. Resisting law enforcement.



Tuesday

• Shandon R. Laffoon, 31, 9500 block of Bono Road, Terre Haute, booked 12:11 a.m. Burglary.

• Richard E. Rogers, 33, 600 block of North Chamberlain Road, Terre Haute, booked 12:39 a.m. Resisting law enforcement and railroad mischief.

• Thomas D. Long, 35, 1500 block of Sixth Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 1:10 a.m. Resisting law enforcement and railroad mischief.   

• James L. Kimbler, 43, 100 block of North 14th Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:16 a.m. Resisting law enforcement and railroad mischief.  

• Norvin Delgado, 31, 10 block of North Lafayette Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 3:03 p.m. Operating while intoxicated.

 

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
