TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Thursday and today, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Thursday, Oct. 4

Garret C. Newhouse, 25, 8400 block of North County Road 500 West, Brazil, booked 9:29 a.m. Probation violation.

Shyann N. Samm, 20, 300 block of North 12th Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:50 p.m. Receiving stolen property.

Ashley N. Rudisel, 27, 100 block of North Charles B. Hall, Brazil, booked 3:19 p.m. Theft.

Michelle M. Myers, 43, 200 block of North State Avenue, Indianapolis, booked 4:09 p.m. Driving while intoxciated.

David D. Rigdon III, 2900 block of South Jefferson Street, Terre Haute, booked 6:49 p.m. Criminal trespass.

Joshua M. Gatewood, 25, 800 block of South Fifth Street, Terre Haute, booked 7:07 p.m. Probation violation.

Terry Bruner, 43, 2300 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 7:25 p.m. Disorderly conduct.

Mary C. Skinner, 33, 1500 block of South Fourth Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:47 p.m. Failure to appear.

Lynzee D. Davis, 19, 10 block of South Fourth, Beech Grove, booked 11:20 p.m. Minor consuming.

Stephanie J. Gardiner, 22, 200 block of South Sixth Street, West Terre Haute, booked 11:33 p.m. Glue/paint sniffing.

Richard L. Stoelting, 50, 1900 block of North First Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:40 p.m. Probation violation.

Friday, Oct. 5

Jacob D. Love, 21, 600 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:56 a.m. Disorderly conduct.

Siena M. Knight, 26900 block of Eighth Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 1:34 a.m. Failure to appear.

Dominque J. Brooks, 20, 400 block of North Sixth Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:31 a.m. Minor consuming.

Mikhail Y. Sorochan, 22, 700 block of South Seventh Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:41 a.m. Driving while intoxicated.

Sara Slaughter, 35, 2600 block of Deming, Terre Haute, booked 5:53 a.m. Possession of methamphetamine.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
