TERRE HAUTE —  The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Wednesday and Thursday, based on jail records.Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Wednesday

James E. Dailey, 44, 500 block of South Sixth Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:39 a.m. Probation violation.

Joshua H. Johnson, 24, 6500 block of North Robertson Street, Terre Haute, booked 9:28 a.m. Court order.

Brittaney L. Orman, 20, 2300 block of West Woodland Avenue, West Terre Haute, booked 9:52 a.m. Criminal trespass.

Robin Stewart, 47, 1100 block of Sousth Fifth Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:35 a.m. Court order.

Tyron D. Robinson, 35, 1400 block of South 17th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:21 a.m. Failure to appear.

Michael J. Byrer, 25, 1400 block of Chase Street, Terre Haute, booked 1:30 p.m. Failure to appear.

Eugene V. Hamilton, 37, 1000 block South Ninth Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:07 p.m. Failure to appear (three counts) and probation violation.

Robert E. Inman, 25, 2200 block of Franklin Street, Terre Haute, booked 4:33 p.m. Failure to appear.

Logan Carpenter, 19, no address given, booked 6:55 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Kori C. McGee, 18, 5300 block of South 1100 East, Elizabethtown, booked 6:55 a.m.  Criminal conversion.

Logan D. Carpenter, 19, 11100 block of East County Road 500 North, Seymour, booked 7 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Rashidat T. Balogun, 18, 200 block of East Blumberg, Terre Haute, booked 7:11 p.m. Criminal conversion.

James A. Lowery Sr., 50, 3800 block of North 25th Street, Terre Haute, booked 7:55 p.m. Battery.

Donell Marzett, 56, 2200 block of East Garfield Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 9:14 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Cynthia L. Phelps, 39, 2200 block of East Haythorne Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 11:42 p.m. Habitual traffic violator and failure to appear.

Thursday

Gregory L. Puckett, 52, 600 block of South Fourth, Terre Haute, booked 1:36 a.m. Failure to appear.

Melissa Hayes, 33, 500 block of South Sherman Street, Brazil, booked 3:35 a.m. Failure to appear.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
