Conservation officers investigate death at Greene-Sullivan State Forest

DUGGER, Ind — Indiana Conservation officers are investigating the death of an individual discovered on the Greene-Sullivan State Forest. 

At about 5:55 p.m. Thursday the Sullivan County Sherriff’s Department received a call from a concerned citizen about a parked vehicle located adjacent to the Greene-Sullivan State Forest archery range in Sullivan County. Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies arrived and located a deceased male inside the vehicle. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of the next of kin.

Indiana Conservation Officers are still investigating the incident with the assistance of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, Sullivan County Coroner, Indiana State Police and the Sullivan County Prosecutor’s Office.
