TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Tuesday

• Zachary L. Critchlow, 21, 2200 block of Liberty Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 7:33 a.m. Probation violation.

• Richard K. Maloney, 32, 4700 block of N. Hendricks Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:28 a.m. Battery.

• Bryan A. Nacke, 40, 1300 Woodley Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:19 p.m. Theft.

• Jay S. Snyder, 43, 1100 block North 34th Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:21 p.m. Probation violation (two counts) and court order.

• Jamal Mayes, 18, 800 block Matterhorn Court, Crown Point, booked 12:36 p.m. Criminal trespass.

• William F. Wilkes, 22, 2000 block Hendricks Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:51 p.m. Theft.

• Mary A. Hoopingarner, 37, 400 block Second Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 1:26 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Brett C. Royer, 20, 3400 block 31st Street, Terre Haute, booked 2:32 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Logan Frets, 24, Pear Tree Lane, Terre Haute, booked 2:58 p.m. Intimidation, theft, and criminal trespass.

• Anthony D. Evinger, 21, East Water Street, Shelburn, booked 4:03 p.m. Child molesting.

• Gary F. Krackenberger, 59, 1000 block East Chamberland Street, East Glenn, booked 4:13 p.m Child molesting (two counts).

• Jenifer M. Jackson, 33, 2900 block Thompson Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:31 p.m. Neglect of a dependent.

• Tucker J. Ohara, 26, 100 block South 13th Hlf Street, Terre Haute, booked 8:34 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Miranda C. Mervyn, 20, 700 block South Sixth Street, Terre Haute, booked 10:28 p.m. Criminal conversion.

Wednesday

• Brenda L. Bradbury, 47, 4200 block North 14th Street, Terre Haute, booked 12:20 a.m. Failure to appear.

• Michael Lane Jr., 19, 1400 block Park, Terre Haute, booked 1:58 a.m. Battery and Criminal mischief.

• Kristina Gruner, 27, 2200 block East 1510 South, Clinton, booked 2:56 p.m. Failure to appear.

• Phillip A. Evans, 34, 600 block Cherry Street, Terre Haute, booked 5:36 p.m. Intimidation.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
