DANA —
The Friends of Ernie Pyle will be honoring all service veterans of Helt Township in Vermillion County at 3 p.m. Saturday during the Ernie Pyle Festival in Dana.
The observance will take place at the front stage area across from the Bank of Indiana on Indiana 71, the main street through Dana.
The organization, which owns and operates the Ernie Pyle World War II Museum in Dana, invites all veterans and citizens to attend the ceremony. The Friends also invites veterans to ride on the museum’s float for the parade at 6 p.m. Saturday. Those who wish to do so should meet at the museum at 5 p.m.
