TERRE HAUTE — Five pink fire trucks will show up at 5 p.m. Thursday at Fairbanks Park for the “Red Lights for the Headlights” event for breast cancer awareness, and the public is invited to attend.

Terre Haute Firefighters Local 758 is bringing the Pink Heals Tour to town as a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

The event is free to the public, with equipment from area fire departments expected, along with games, health displays and information, a dunking booth, live music, food and a beer garden.

The Pink Heals Tour is traveling around the country through October with firefighters in pink fire suits driving pink fire trucks to spread awareness and honor women battling cancer.
