Vigo County Jail Log: Sept. 11, 2012

TERRE HAUTE — The following individuals were booked into the Vigo County Jail by area law enforcement on Monday and Tuesday, based on jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers but are not final until the Vigo County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

Monday

William H. Long, 56, under the 100th block of Highland Court, Paris, Ill., booked 11:22 a.m. Failure to appear.

Victor Boehmer, 21, 1900 block of North 26th Street, Terre Haute, booked 11:39 a.m. Probation violation.

John C. Summerlot, 25, 5600 block of South Morris Place, Terre Haute, booked 12:20 p.m. Bond revocation.

Anthony R. Kern, 39, 1200 block of Sate Road 144, Mooresville, booked 2:06 p.m. Failure to appear.

Daniel E. Isbell, 34, 1700 block of Garfield Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 6:37 p.m. Criminal conversion and failure to appear.

Connie S. Malooley, 50, 9400 block of Greencastle Road, Terre Haute, booked 7 p.m. Battery-domestic.

Dariann Pomeroy, 43, 1500 block of Third Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 9:07 p.m. Public intoxication and disorderly conduct. 

Tuesday

 Paul J. Hostetler, 59, 2200 block of Boston Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 12:35 a.m. Operating while intoxicated.

Brandon T. Sweatt, 30, 1300 block of Dean Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 2:05 a.m. Habitual traffic violator and operating while intoxicated.

Robert E. Spitler II, 56, 4400 block of South Eighth Street, Terre Haute, booked 3:44 a.m. Murder.

Jason J. Wilt, 18, 2200 block of Second Avenue, Terre Haute, booked 4:50 a.m. Possession of handgun without license.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
