Charles R. Chumley Jr., 26, of Terre Haute was booked into the Vigo County jail at 5:03 p.m. on preliminary charges of burglary and robbery. He was held Friday with bail at $65,000.
Steven A. Hutchens, 21, of Terre Haute was arrested by Terre Haute police at 11:16 p.m. at 13th Street and Wabash Avenue on a preliminary charge of habitually violating traffic code. He was released Saturday on his own recognizance.
Larry P. Prouse, 23, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 3:08 a.m. at Ninth and Chestnut streets on preliminary charges of possession of cocaine and disorderly conduct. He posted $500 bail on Monday and was released.
Saturday
John A. Box, 39, of Rosedale was booked into the Vigo County jail at 4:51 p.m. He was charged with failing to register as a sex offender. He posted $1,000 bail and was released Friday.
Vincent Morales, 49, of Terre Haute was booked into the Vigo County jail at 11:11 p.m. He was charged with criminal recklessness and a misdemeanor count of criminal conversion. He was released Monday on his own recognizance.
Sunday
Jessica R. Duke, 24, of Rosedale was arrested by city police at 10:24 a.m. in the first block of West Margaret Street. She was wanted on warrants for theft, forgery and probation violation. She was held Friday with bail at $50,000.
Jonathan Solliday, 24, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 3:47 a.m. at 15th and Walnut streets on preliminary charges of residential entry and public intoxication. He was held Friday on an out-of-county warrant.
Monday
William J. Murr, 34, and Frank L. Murr, 33, both of Terre Haute were arrested by city police at 1:10 a.m. at 25th and Poplar streets as a result of a traffic stop. William Murr was charged with operating a vehicle after a lifetime forfeiture and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was held Friday with bail at $50,000. Frank Murr was arrested on a preliminary charge of burglary. He was held Friday with bail at $50,000.
Tuesday
Chad M. Schimmel, 19, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 12:13 a.m. at Fruitridge and Margaret avenues. He was charged with possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor count of minor consumption of alcohol. He was released on his own recognizance Wednesday.
Wednesday
Michael J. Adams, 38, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 1:30 p.m. in the first block of South Third Street on preliminary charges of residential entry and public intoxication. He also was served a warrant for fraud after his arrest. He was held Friday with bail at $20,000. n James D. Blair, 35, of Terre Haute was arrested by a Vigo County Sheriff’s deputy at 6:15 p.m. in the 8300 block of North Erickson Street on a warrant for dealing marijuana. He also was wanted for an alleged probation violation and failure to appear in a divorce case. He was held Friday with bail at $25,000 in the drug case.
Rose M. Heck, 44, of Terre Haute was arrested by a Vigo County Sheriff’s deputy at 2:45 p.m. at the Vigo County Juvenile Justice Center on an out-of-county warrant for possession of a controlled substance. She was no longer in the Vigo County jail on Friday.
Mellonie L. Floyd, Jarik S. Rogers and Alcie A. Wilson were arrested by members of the Vigo County Drug Task Force at about 9:10 p.m. during a search of a residence in the 1300 block of North 20th Street. Floyd was preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana; she posted $500 bail and was released. Rogers was preliminarily charged with possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance; he posted $350 bail and was released. Wilson was preliminarily charged with dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance; he posted $1,500 bail.
Jamie L. Lowe, 23, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 5:07 p.m. in the 1300 block of Eagle Street on a preliminary charge of habitually violating traffic code. She was released on her own recognizance Wednesday.
Leigha B. Starkey, 22, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 3:20 p.m. in the first block of North Eighth Street. She was wanted on a Parke County warrant for theft. She was released Wednesday to Parke County.
Thursday
Brian K. Marshall, 38, of Terre Haute turned himself in because of a warrant in Vigo County Superior Court Division 4. He was wanted on the warrant for criminal recklessness resulting in serious bodily injury. He was released on his own recognizance.
Ayman M. Nabhan, 35, of Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 11:14 a.m. at Sixth and Minshall streets on a preliminary charge of stalking. He was held Friday with bail at $15,000, no professional bond allowed.
Friday
Bradley Padgett, 27, of West Terre Haute was arrested by city police at 1:51 a.m. at Seventh and Poplar streets on preliminary charges of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and criminal recklessness. He posted $1,000 bail and was released.
