TERRE HAUTE —
A suspected arson that destroyed a car and damaged a Terre Haute home is under investigation.
At about 3 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to the 2200 block of First Avenue after the interior of a vehicle was set on fire.
Assistant Fire Chief Brett Doan of the Terre Haute Fire Department said the car had been parked within three feet of a house, and about $10,000 damage occurred to the dwelling. The car was destroyed.
